How a typical engagement runs.
Six steps. A single sourcing project usually covers the first five in six to ten weeks, depending on sample lead times.
Define requirement
A call to understand what you sell, where you buy it now, your volumes, and your target price. We then confirm scope and fee in writing.
Source
We approach suppliers and request quotations and samples.
Compare
We review the available registration, capacity and certification documents against the agreed criteria. You receive a shortlist with our recommendation.
Negotiate
We negotiate with your chosen supplier and prepare the purchase agreement.
Approve
You approve the supplier, the commercial terms and the order before any commitment is made.
Coordinate
After you approve, we release the order, follow production, and coordinate the export documents and freight booking. We track the shipment to the agreed milestone, deal with problems as they come up, and after delivery compare the landed cost and lead time with the plan.
A few ground rules.
One contact
The person who takes your brief is the person who manages the order.
Weekly updates
A short written update every week during an active project, and immediately if there is a problem.
Fees agreed up front
Fixed fee or monthly retainer, confirmed in writing before we start.
